In the wake of the pandemic, church attendance has not rebounded to pre-pandemic levels. For some, virtual church has replaced gathering in-person. For others, the fear of COVID has kept them from gathering with fellow believers.
AM 1160 invites pastors and ministry leaders to join us for this special event where you will hear from local pastors about how they are ministering during this challenging time and what they are doing to invite people back and welcoming them upon their return to the local church body.
- Registration is free for all pastors and church leaders
- A light breakfast will be served beginning at 9am.
Featured speakers will include:
Aubrey Sampson, co-host of The Common Good heard weekday afternoons on AM 1160, church planter, teacher, and author of three books, including "The Louder Song: Listening for Hope in the Midst of Lament".
Brian From, co-host of The Common Good heard weekday afternoons on AM 1160 and lead pastor of Four Corners Community Church in Darien.
Scott Ziegler, lead pastor of The Bridge Community Church in Des Plaines, with locations in Prospect Heights and Chicago. Scott has over 35 years of experience as a lead pastor.
Romell Williams, senior pastor of Lilydale Progressive M.B. Church in Chicago, where he has served since 2004.
Tara Beth Leach, pastor of servant ministry and missional life at Christ Church of Oak Brook. She previously served as senior pastor of Pasadena Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena, California, and she's the author of three books.
